Russia sells 48 fighter jets to China last generation provided that the copy

Russia is completing a major arms sale contracts of the past decade, China will sell 48 Su-35 fighters edge for approximately 4,000 million dollars at a rate of 85 million unit, as calculated by Kommersant. But Russia does not trust his client and has included a clause to prevent China to make a cheap copy of the aircraft for resale to third countries at a lower price.
Precedents are abundant. The Chinese fighter J-10 is a virtual copy of Russian Su-27, while the J-11 is analogous to His-30. So much so that experts in the market for the sale of weapons estimate that the massive purchase of fighters from Beijing is due to the interest of the Chinese to access the latest technology from the Russians, the Russian newspaper Pravda published. The Chinese aircraft not only copied but whole units of the Army, as happened last year in the U.S..
Such a history of abuse, coupled with China's refusal to authorize the intellectual property rights of Su-35 have set off alarm bells in Moscow, which has required additional safeguards to prevent copying of the fighters. Either way, the paper said Russia will be very difficult to check if China fulfills its part of the agreement.
But the threat of a possible copy will not stop the multimillion delivery. Russia has the best customer in China for its military technology, since the Chinese defense budget for the first time exceeded 100,000 billion, as acknowledged by Prime Minister Wen Jiabao on March 5. The miliary budget in 2012 has increased by 11.2% last year, according to Voice of Russia.
The Sukhoi Su-35 multipurpose fighter is manufactured by the Russian company Sukhoi. This is an improved variant of the Su-27, manufactured in the 80's for the USSR. Equip a 30mm cannon and can reach speeds of 2,500 km / h.

Update: The official news agency of Russia, RIA Novosti, has issued a denial of the Ministry of Defense of China about the operation announced by Kommersant.According to China, the information "has no basis in fact." However, the agency itself echoed three days before the news, so it is possible that negotiations continue to resolve a sticking point, perhaps the fear of the Russians on the cloning of its fighters
