Major uses of a smartphone: to revive birds hitting the window

Leon Timms is a bird lover who has discovered a new use for your smartphone. And it goes beyond playing Angry Birds, as it tries to save the birds instead ofthrowing them against things.

Mr. Timms was watching the FA Cup final on television at his home in Oxford, a fortnight ago, when a finch crashed into the window and fell. Immediately took thedazed bird inside the house and found still breathing, so a flash of inspiration utilized an application on your iPhone that plays bird calls to try to revive him. And it worked.

After selecting the song of the chaffinch in the options menu, and after a fewminutes of singing, the bird began to show signs of life. So I settled on a branch of a tree in his garden and touched the bird's song again, while the rose finch flightand disappeared among the houses.

"I opened the application, got the sound and almost immediately the eyes of thebird were activated and appeared to be more alert" in the local newspaperaccount, while ensuring that the animal entered his home without life and we justput the application started to show signs of recovery. "Definitely, responded to the sound of another finch."

Leon Timms is a professional tree trimmer and had declined the application a year ago to teach their clients the edge of the different birds that you hear while working in the gardens. And as a lover of animals, always tries to protect the nests of birds when the trees are being cut.

This is indeed a very creative use for an application, even the Society Royal Society for the Protection of Birds British claims to have heard before practice, but counseling is time to give the birds a chance to recover when hit a house. Andthen you can tweet over the feat, which is very appropriate in the case of birds.

By the way, Leon Timms missed the first half of the match of your favorite teambecause he was trying to revive the finch with your iPhone. And he says he does not regret one bit.
