Lava takes on Spice Stellar Buddy Mi-315, launches Iris 351

An android smartphone for Rs.3,899. What else one needs. Lava has launched Lava Iris 351, a dual-SIM (GSM) budget phone which is available at some ecommerce portals like Flipkart and Saholic. The device can be had for Rs. 3,899. The phone runs on Android 2.3. Gingerbread.

Lava Iris 351 comes with a 1GHz processor, and comes with 256 MB of RAM on board. It has 3.5-inch touchscreen which has a resolution of 320X480 pixels and sports a  2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera.

Other features include internal memory which is limited to 110MB, memory cards of upto 16GB and FM radio and FM radio recording.

In terms of comparison it can be bracketed with Spice Spice's Stellar Buddy Mi-315 which was launched recently. The dual SIM phone comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, 256MB of RAM, 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, 3.2MP rear camera, 170MB built-in storage.

Spice Stellar Buddy Mi-315 is available online for Rs. 3490.
